Escaping the Concept of Time

An average human has 50,000-70,000 thoughts per day. A big portion of these thoughts are either reliving past experiences or anticipating a future one. While you're consumed by these thoughts, you are still, and will always be, in the present moment. Life is nothing but a continuous present, while also living a past and future within it. When you were 15, you wondered where you would be at your current age. Here you are. You're living your childhoods future. In 10 years, you'll be reliving old memories of this time in your life.

While your being only physically experiences present time for its entire existence, you are constantly creating all 3. Anything we refer to as a past or future experience, will only be experienced through the presence in which it took place. The past and future are just references we can use as tools to recall something that already has, or has not yet happened. Breaking this down just emphasizes how little most people are truly present and mindful. We let our thoughts run wild and rule our mind. To quiet the mind and to observe every experience for what it is becomes pure bliss. To ponder on anything other than the place you are currently at, at this very moment, is the biggest waste of the experience you could have had.

This is how time is merely an illusion. Humans created time as a reference of events, nothing more. Our measurement of time is not reliable; nothing else in existence relies on the concept of time. Everything just is.
Just being one with everything else removes the veil and shows you the truth.
Mindfulness is the key to unlocking this door.
