"You" Are Only An Idea

The egoic mind is very sure of itself.

It holds its own idea of Self on a pedestal and how dare anyone threaten it.
What we know and understand about ourselves is not the end all, be all to who we are as people.
There is no singular definition of anyone or anything. There's no way to define a thing with pure objection. You're still making this 'objective' judgement with your own perception. It is your own idea of an 'objective standpoint' so how objective can it actually be?
Even when we put our opinions on hold, we can't control whatever emotions or thoughts arise in any given situation.

Wherever there is a thought of you, you exist.
You are there, in the form of a thought.
You're not limited to your physical body.
You exist not only in the thoughts of other people, but your own mind as well. This allows for there to be thousands of versions of 'you', considering all of the people who hold a unique memory of you. All of these perceptions of you are true based on their understanding and experience. While they are true to them, you should take them with a grain of salt.
We form opinions based on perception so there are thousands of reasons why people may understand you and your behavior in such a specific way, even if that wasn't how you intended it.
This is why everyone you meet is a reflection of you. How you understand and view that person is only because of your previous experiences and limited perception, not because of them. How you take in the world around you reveals who you are.

What makes you, 'you' is just an array of characteristics and these characteristics are very malleable. You are not constant and you are not concrete. There is no one way to describe any person because the idea of said person may be completely different to the next. Every version of You is its own unique form because each idea is dependent on the perceiver. If you're not careful, you will end up living the illusions others have created for you. Lead yourself into being an idea that you love; a true love for the Self that can't be easily disrupted while still thriving for personal evolution. This is how you become indestructible.
