I was not thinking apparently, not protecting myself, trusting that the people around me had good intensions when they didn't have, and so on. I think I huge part of my negative experience, was due to Joannes predatory actions.

Anyway I believe it is very different with your expats, as they are in a very different place and setting, then the group I meet in the past.
