Abuse, harassment, neglect, and accidents that happen to a person before they turn 18 are all considered childhood traumas. These can affect a person's mind, emotions, or body.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is the name for the mental effects of emotional suffering. People generally get post-traumatic stress disorder after going through something very stressful, like war, a natural disaster, or being abused sexually or physically.

Some of the short-term signs are depression, anxiety, flashbacks, and bad dreams that keep happening.

Children who were exposed to traumatic events as children are more likely to have mental illnesses like depression, anxiety disorders, drug use disorders, and personality disorders as adults.

So, it's very important to get the help you need from professionals at the right time.

You should talk to your child and help him talk about how he feels if you think he is worried or stressed. What does it mean to be stressed?

We can say that stress is how our bodies respond when something unexpected happens.

Stress shows up in four places: the body, the mind, the emotions, and the relationships. At times when things are stressful;

How should you talk to kids who are stressed? To do this, you must first comfort your kid. But you shouldn't stick with the child or make them explain things.

Give the child room and let them know that you are listening when they want to talk about how they feel.

If you believe he isn't able to properly express his thoughts, help him and back up what he says with your own experiences.

You can help him talk about how he feels by writing or drawing. Think about what the child is scared and worried about. Do not laugh at your child's fears.

Let him talk, and let's figure things out together. Show him that you trust him. Tell your child how you handle things that make you feel stressed.

Encourage them to do things together, like yoga, breathing routines, or sports. Let him know that you believe in him and what he can do when problems arise.
