"If I had to vote, I'd vote for Satan. But I don't have to vote; I'm with God."

in #life8 years ago

The quote in the subject just came into my head a few nights ago. Relates to, well, everything. Was reading this ZeroHedge article at the time.

And it's a little cryptic, because it really should start with, "If I had to vote, I'd be casting a vote for Satan." -- but I really like my shorter wording, because it indicates that voting for Satan is not something most people come to reluctantly. They want an oppressor to harm their perceived "enemies" and think that voting can possibly cause some good.

I've been letting it percolate before posting, which turned out to be a good idea -- I just watched this Corbett Report video of a speech James Corbett gave, which rhymes a great deal with my thoughts. Towards the end he says (the first part, being "speaking for the powers that be"):

"War is over if you want it?" -- that's stupid, that's a pipe dream! But don't, don't spend your days dreaming about that nonsense, don't fight. But why, why are they so scared of it? Why do they want you? Why do they spend so much time and energy and money and effort trying to propagandize you so that you believe in this cause?

It's a) because noone really believes in it; it's just more BS from the same BSers that always do the same thing; and secondarily, well, because obviously they care about you and what you feel and what you believe and what you think -- your mind is the battlefield! And it's not about China and US, it's about every person on the planet, it's about conquering your mind.

Which is why maintaining our cognitive independence, and not giving in to the idea that we have to fight anything, for the benefit of some Kissinger-esque horrible minion of some global order that we don't want; we have to resist that. And that is our power, our power lies in our consciousness.

"Your mind is the battlefield." I've been conditioned from an early age to accept what our "rulers" decree, because "We the People" "voted" for them to oppress us. Well, I decided a few years ago that I would participate no longer in this sham.

Now with the Roy Moore election results, and blatant felonies being committed and acknowledged on camera by at least two people (I saw those earlier today, on an OAN report), it's clear to me that spending one's time and energy on voting or voting issues (uh oh... :) ) means you're just giving energy to The Adversary.

I suppose I can defend my spending time and energy creating this post, because it's more of a "public service announcement" for those with ears to hear. I lacked those ears a few years ago.

Enjoy!

Propaganda is a powerful force... we should strive for peace everyday!

Epic quote! What a great article and so true. The mind is the battlefield... some battles we lose, but hopefully not the war on our road to peace and (self)love

So much love to share,.. and Yes,... with the one who appriciate it everytime

voting for Satan is not something most people come to reluctantly. They want an oppressor to harm their perceived "enemies" and think that voting can possibly cause some good.

Wow. What a sharp and clear observation. Folks want to punish others. People definitely would not be foaming at the mouth to vote for live and let live ("God"). Well, I actually think they would vote for love and peace if they could think outside of the political false dichotomy brainwash called "democracy" and understand individual self-ownership.

That said, you're right. As it stands now, within the evil system of violating others and extorting them via state agents to pay for what you want, Satan is the most effective tool...

your point of view is so respectable ....great post dear @libertyteeth

very nice writing my friend and Propaganda is a powerful force.Very interesting post.thanks for sharing...

the war is start only with speaking and i hate the politicians there for i dont give vote anyone in election bcz the war start all these politician to save his egos only but in battle field died only soldier not that bloody politician which start this @liberttyteeth

Yeah, the beginning of his speech was very powerful. Especially that men were able to overcome the innate "Thou shalt not kill" directive in others. His [the soldier's] reaction to what he had done is what I'd imagine mine would be, if I chose to survive in this realm by taking another soul. I don't think I would, but then, I've never been in that situation and logic doesn't always win out.

Rome is certainly burning. But if I'm making reference to a regime that was around 2000 years ago; I guess nothing is new under the sun. Enjoy your holidays coming up. At least you can sit in comfort and relax (no bombs ontop of your head) - yet

Good points @libertyteeth. I started a libertarian became an anarchist only to end up being an agorist. Politically I say just walk away.
That being said the government and their cronies the big corporations claim they own almost all of the resources in the world, sorry for them but in the long term we the people cant let that stand.

I made the same journey! Was very libertarian even as a young adult, but was disillusioned by the Advocates for Self Government, who didn't advocate much at all to others, just sat there talking amongst themselves.

In 2012, I held my nose and registered Republican, to support Ron Paul. (Don't care how I'm registered now, as I'm no longer voting.) Not long after that election I "graduated" to anarchy. Not sure about agorism, so I did a search and found this enlightening discussion: https://dailyanarchist.com/forum/index.php?topic=7.0;wap2

Thanks again for broadening my horizons! :)
