Hey Steemians -

Are you in a relationship with someone who eats, sleeps, & dreams about crypto? I am & I wouldn't have it any other way.

It wasn't always this way - in fact, it's taken some adjustment on my part to get used to the idea of crypto being the primary thought on his mind, especially when I didn't know enough about the subject to carry on a conversation about it.

The stubborn part of me even delayed learning about it, naively thinking this was all just a phase & we could go back to our normal life in a couple of weeks. I'm happy to say that never happened & I've now become a crypto-lover myself. Who wants normal, anyways?

What to Expect

1.) Be prepared to hear where the price of Bitcoin (plus several other strange crypto names) is at before you've fully awakened. Just nod & smile if it doesn't quite make sense to you yet - you'll learn.

2.) Naturally, your crypto-loving guy (or gal) will also want you to invest in crypto. Just do it - you'll thank them later.

3.) Everyone within a 5 mile radius will know more than they want to know about Steemit & crypto - just know they can't help it.

4.) You might hear strange viking voices coming from their laptop from time to time, because they keep Steemspeak on in the background all. day. long. (But for real, great convos are happening here - http://www.steemspeak.com/. Check it out!)

5.) You'll start exhibiting strange behaviors, like checking the price of your cryptos, studying charts, and telling complete strangers about investing in crypto. You can't help it.

6.) Expect all of your birthday, anniversary, & valentines gifts to be some form of crypto.

7.) Once you've made your first small chunk of change from investing your money in the right cryptos, you'll come to the realization that you've officially caught the crypto bug from your crypto-lover. And you're not that mad about it.

All jokes aside, I'm thankful to have someone teaching me the ropes at my own pace - similar to a snail's. I started off investing a small $150 that grew to $800 in a couple of months. So far I've invested a total of $400 and it's grown to be over $1800 in less than a month.

Steemit has been a huge part of me going from skeptic to a believer in the power of crypto & I can thank my boyfriend for tirelessly convincing me to get on here. I'm excited to get more of my family & friends on Steemit & can't wait to see where it all goes!
