RE: I don't OPEN CARRY or own a firearm. But if I legally want to eat an icecream in public, I will exercise my right to do so...

I'm for the 2nd amendment to, but you can't blame people to be scared when they see somebody armed (especially in these days), with an icecream you can't harm anyone, with a gun yes. So it's natural that people could be scared and call the police, no one knows what you want to do with a gun.

I could stick my ice cream in someone's eye, with full force. They should be scared and call the police. No one knows if I want to eat that ice cream, or pop someone's eye out with it either.

If I take the pointy end of my ice cream cone and jam it in your eye... that should cause someone to be scared and call the police too.

90% of the open carry people are simply demonstrating that they have the legal right to carry a firearm, and we shouldn't be scared since they are exhibiting non-threatening behavior.

90% of ice cream people are simply interested in eating their ice cream too. But if you test freaks, there is 10% of them that can prove that a pointed cone can be quite harmful. :)

Or a rock, or a hammer, or a 2 by 4. If you wanna hurt someone, or a group of people, use a crockpot, or a vehicle, or you know... just about anything. If you have time to call the cops because you saw someone with a gun. By the time they got there, if that person was intending to do harm with said weapon, they would have already done it, not to mention you just wasted an officer's time by calling the police when they could have been doing something else productive.

I love this comment. Exactly. :)

:D I try, I try.

Hate will breed evil intentions, hateful people will be evil, the weapon they use does not give them the power they hold in their heart, but it is the hate they hold onto in their mind.
