"THE TRUTH IS A LIE, UNTIL YOU BELIEVE IT"

We live in a world with millions of optics, opinions, spheres, contradictions, claims, criticisms, contributions ... And stop counting. Everyone believes they have the truth, everyone wants people to believe them, we all THINK (I include myself) that our point of view is correct.. So what?

The truth is so relative that only a pair of eyes could turn it into a lie.
We spend valuable time, in differentiating between truth and lies, in making others believe that our truth is the only one and that they are wrong.

What is the point of imposing our thinking as correct, real and unique? What is the point of judging the rest as lies?

The truth, or at least my truth, is that the truth changes on each other's thought.
The truth, or at least my truth, is that the system wants to eliminate some points to qualify others as "the way".

The truth, or at least my truth, is that we have all been deceived since unmemorable times and the truth is that it has been OUR DECISIONS that have validated those truths.

-All this is true only if you decide to believe it -

We should stop looking for it, because it is there, inside us and externalized in our decisions, nobody has the absolute truth, you can believe it or not, but the reality is that you should establish your own truth, your own path, your own reason and destiny, BELIEVE in YOU is the most powerful engine that exists, no matter what the world says and others impose, they can only do it IF YOU BELIEVE THEM.

Question, criticize, build and believe whatever you want to believe in, but never close your mind to a single truth.

What about you? What do you believe in?

Hey, @marianlagamma.

A thought provoking piece you've written.

I've thought about on more than one occasion, especially about truth, and I think I'm coming to this conclusion:

There are universal truths. Like all will die. Things change. Things come to an end. Etcetera. And then there are our truths, which may or may not line up with the universal ones. If they do, then we're okay, I believe. If they don't, then what? I suppose it depends on which universal truths we're denying. If we think we're going to live forever on Earth, then we're fooling ourselves. If we believe we can live a long life regardless of how we treat ourselves, our bodies, minds, others, etc., then we've got a rude awakening.

So, truth that can be interpreted in many different ways isn't much of a truth, is it? To be truth, it has to be. Always. Constant. Never changing. Everlasting. Otherwise, if it is just the prevailing thought or wisdom of the day, does it even rise to the level of truth anyway? I'd say, probably not.

Hey! @grenalbrethsen
That's an amazing point of view. We should take a deeper look at what we believe in to actually judge it the best way. I absolutely agree with those universal truths, because those are some which can't be denied, there's no way.
But, i think, that even though there are thoughts that aren't constant on everybody, i mean they change, it's kind of complicated to say that they are lies, only because you dont believe in something it doesn't mean it's a lie, that's what i'm trying to say.

Some people believe in things that others would see as madness, but sometimes they're just thinking deeper than us or maybe the society can't understand them YET.
There are some truths today that were lies some time ago.
And there are lies (for some) right now, that maybe will be truths in the future.
Anyway, every point of view is valid.
Greetings!

Oh, I agree with the believing in things that eventually prove to be true when no one believes them at first. That's happened a lot. Kind of downplayed that part in my comment, but it's exactly right. World was flat, then it wasn't, and now there's folks who claim it is flat. Still round to me. :) I was actually on the other side where people are not believing the actual truth and then have to decide what they're going to do about it when they discover the truth. Some people change. Others do not, because it's not convenient or it means relinquishing power.

I guess that just means while we're going to believe what we believe, being judgmental isn't the way to go. We may eventually be proven right or wrong, but there's no reason to burn bridges in the meantime. We can disagree and still have friends.

Exactly! that's the actual point of this post, understanding that everybody will believe or think in some way different than us, and that's not a reason to condemn them! haha.
