White Privilege Takes a Beating
Things in America are reaching a boiling point.
Case in point: A black bus driver in Florida was recently fired from his job after confronting a belligerent racist passenger. Apparently, the passenger felt he could continually refer to the driver using the racial slur "nigger" over a span of roughly fifteen minutes. When the driver warned him that he wouldn't stand for such things, not one more time, the passenger spit on him.
That's when the fury of hell came out of the driver. He pummeled the passenger to unconsciousness.
Although there are no clear winners in this case, I think it is clear that the driver acted in self defense.
Throwing racial slurs, continually and for no apparent reason is a form of assault, called "fighting words". Although not always a justification for violent retaliation, it does have some legal standing as a justification.
But spitting on someone is a clear form of assault. I think if I were spat upon, like this driver was, I would act as he did. Nevertheless, the transit authority fired the driver for his actions. However, I don't think we've heard the last of this story.

There is no such thing as white privilege. There's only minority privilege. Minorities get free college rides, free Civil Service points, employers oftentimes have minority quotas and hire a certain number of minority no matter who was more qualified. Personally in my city ...they were subsidizing the wages for 7 years for companies to hire certain minorities.
White Privilege is a myth. It's called a white disadvantage.
