But they haven't looked at the post. Even worse they don't even vote it. Instead they are just looking for comment upvotes. If you try and reason with them they deny it, often offering up the flimsiest excuses about voting power or vote value.
It inspired a little animation!
I thought this would be a handy response to the worst offender's that I flag/downvote.

I know stickmen can be violent, but holy moses I was not expecting a flag through the head. I legitimately laughed so hard it's taken me a couple of seconds to calm down to write this.
The zoom in is the very best part... oh, this whole thing is just so great.
Ah, just so you know I'll be voting on the 30min mark.. but I wanted to comment straight away because it's the biggest laugh I've had all week. I've watched it 4 times already.

btw, you might get more curation if you vote at the 15 minutes mark! It's a funny thing the reward curve for curation, if you wait till 30 most people have voted before you and you get next to nothing!!

Here's a tip to all newbies here:
Only comment if you have something meaningful to say. If you just spam "very nice", you won't get paid, you won't learn anything new, you won't contribute anything to the conversation. On the other hand, if you find people you like, comment only of you have something to say you will get paid(and rightfully so!), contribute to the convesation and have an overall pleasant experience with steemit!
