I feel the same way, especially after spending so long having others tell me how and what to write, and who to write for, and that I needed to change what and how I wrote to get more followers and more engagement in order to get higher profiles to increase my business and make more money, and......
shhhhhhhh....... I finally said. You're too noisy.
I just want to write what I feel and think, and share it and let it go out into the wind where maybe someone will appreciate it for what it means to them.

Thank you for being you. The most important thing I have learned from years in business trying to make money, is that chasing money and success is going about it backwards. Even if you get it, you sacrifice what you're truly seeking [time and freedom]. Keep speaking YOUR TRUTH, because somebody is interested in everything. If you're interested in something, there is a plethora of people out there also interested in it, and the money will come as a byproduct.
So true. I’ve believed that for years... just for some reason started listening to others, not trusting myself and giving their opinions and experiences more than my own.
