A Room with a View, and things that feed your soul.
Same view different day, staring out my window across the typewriter, remembering what it is like to run free.
Have a view of the forest overlooking my typewriter gift from my niece, when one day milling through a flea market and in passing mentioning my intrigue of all things old, and antique. Then all to my surprise I was gifted the very typewriter I so nonchalantly admired on some random Sunday out with family.
The joy I find in antiques and things of yore may be random, or possibly something that makes my soul sing, Each time I walk passed or see something with history, it has a strange effect on my soul and I somehow feel the need to include it in things that surround me.
I am fully on board with the idea of minimalism, but also realise that part of the minimalist ideology is that it does not mean you deprave yourself of those things that feed your soul.
So for that reason I do tend to leap towards accumulating things that do just that.
Have a blessed weekend everyone, find the beauty around you.
