Coexistence post
Put yourself in his skin
Put yourself in his skin
Although the saying actually says "put yourself in his shoes", it seems so superficial and material that I prefer to refer to something that we really feel; shoes are dead matter, while the skin reacts to our physical and emotional state.
Now, in the next post I seek to make a small reflection: to make them see life from another point of view.
Sometimes we engage in that the world is as we say and completely ignore that humans are imperfect beings who live, feel and think differently and therefore do not see the environment with the same eyes.
Ignorance of pain or alien thinking is an evil that develops during adolescence; It is during this stage of our development that the human body begins to secrete hormones that make us impulsive when it comes to making decisions. Young adults are almost never able to see the advantages and disadvantages of any act they perform, and end up making mistakes that not only affect them, but also the social circle around them.
After reaching full maturity, we must be resilient and turn those mistakes into experience that we must apply in our adult life, since during this stage is when any decision we make can end up affecting others positively or negatively, and making us better or worse people.
We must always put ourselves in the place of others and, even if they sometimes say or act in a certain way, we should not impose our way of seeing life, sometimes by closing ourselves we stop learning things that could change our way of appreciating the world.
Resilience should be applied from our childhood, a term that our parents do not usually instill in us and that I am sure will change the popular "chancletazo" or punishment, by meditation and reflection that will improve coexistence.
I am sure that at some point, not very far away, ideas and understanding will prevail in the face of force and differences; it is from that moment that we will take the greatest step in the evolution of humanity in society; give all of us to make it that way, let's change the world.
