Karma should go after people that spoil TV shows for others

The first question that comes to mind is… Why? What would a person gain by spoiling an episode for someone on purpose, after that person told you they didn’t want to get spoiled? In fact, it is common knowledge no one likes spoilers. We know that for a fact.

Well, some people like to do this. They might not realise that in the world we live in it’s already hard to not find spoilers on social media. Plus, we all know TV shows are our new favourite thing, precisely because of the excitement, the wait, the speculation and, moreover, the element of surprise! Without those things no one would be able to enjoy a new episode of The Big Bang Theory, for instance.

Is there something we can do to avoid this? Well, sadly, I don’t think so. They best thing we can do is try to watch the episodes the minute they are available on the Internet (not on cable if you don't live in the relevant country). Other than that, there is absolutely no way we can avoid social media, that one co-worker that thrives to spoil the episode for you, your partner, a friend of yours that might just spoil the ending by mistake.. So my advice would be to run for your life, find the TV set, your laptop or your tablet and watch the episode ASAP!

I particularly enjoy watching a TV show when there are at least two episodes launched. That’s why I am the perfect target and I know someone will definitely say something when I least expect it. However, I would understand (or I would try to) someone spoiling me the episode if and only if they are watching the TV show. I would definitely DO NOT understand anyone that is not currently watching that TV show but feels the need to spoil it for me.

What about you? Have you ever gone through this? Do you need a shoulder to cry on? I surely do... Karma is out to get those people that ruin a TV show for others just for fun... For God’s sake, if they are not even watching it what’s the point of being that cruel!?
