Diary: My Life In A Nutshell

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Today you get an insight into my life. My life has changed quite a bit in the last few months and I don't really have a repetitive daily routine (except for mornings) anymore. Every week is really different at least at the moment, but I love it! Just like my ever-changing workspace...

For those of you who don't know, I  have been active as the operating officer in a digital agency that I happened to co-found. The agency itself helps brands and companies smoothly transition to the online world, improve their existing online presence, or launch a new product/service/event. We help them cut through the noise, by providing unique and specific strategies and together with advanced marketing tools are able to quickly establish and grow their target audience and essentially grow their business.

Most of what I do is online, meetings via video or audio calls, all other communication via Telegram and Tello. Even though we have an office in Hamburg, Germany we are still flexible and location independent, thanks to this things called the internet.

I learned a lot during this time and  and even though the agency will always be the foundation of everything I do, as of right now I have my focus on an upcoming exciting project that I work on for the most part of my day at the moment that I can't wait to share with you.

Why I titled this blogpost "my life in a nutshell".. because for the most part my life right now mainly consists of the following 5 things.. Often in a different order, workspace and timeframe, but essentially this is my life...

In the morning, before anything else I like to do some sort of physical activity.. I either do yoga or go the gym. I then get ready, grab a coffee, check the coin market and news and am off to...

1. WORK

The term work has this negative taste to it, and I certainly can't call it work, when I get to create with the most awesome people including @sirwinchester @sandroieva @timsaid and  I'm really passionate about what I do, but it's still a lot of energy, creativity and time I spend most mornings up until afternoon, with my team, meetings and writing..

2. FOOD

Proper lunch to fuel the body...

ok admitted.. and desert..

3. MORE WORK

We then rushed to a pop-up store event of a jewelry boutique, that will become one of the first crypto-boutiques in Hamburg, Germany. At the event I spoke to some people who say they "know" what bitcoin is, but aren't familiar with cryptocurrency.. well, I'm pretty sure most of us have been in this situation at least a hundred times, where you then get bombarded with questions about this interesting new technology.. and quickly more eyes and ears start to join the conversation. It's incredible to witness how more and more brands are interested in taking part in this revolution.

Btw. the pop-up store is ALMA FRIEDA . The designer makes beautiful jewelry and the event was held right next to the fashion store, Rebelle.

Finally, the reason why I actually went to the event... location scouting for this upcoming something I mentioned earlier. Just a quick glimpse:

And off to a late night dance rehearsal for a show tomorrow ft. @sirwinchester & @soldier !

4. DANCE

Checking the time... almost 11 PM. So I quickly rush home, go through the agenda for a long day tomorrow and finish writing the script I had to get done. 00:00 already. Finally my fave activity of the day, checking, replying, browsing and writing on

5. STEEMIT

and that's it for today. Now 6 hours of resting and I'm ready for a long, but exciting day tomorrow!

What did your day consist of?

This blogpost is quite different from my usual ones. How do you like this sort of diary style?

Much love,

- Mrs.Steemit

Sort:

I like it, it's different.. reason being is that it actually directly engages you with your audience, we get to know what kind of person you are.. everyone wants to know how the author of such great content lives. It's like reading a book you get kind of attached to the writer.

But it's good you seem like a busy and active person , and if you can find time to sit down and write the way you do then it's true noone has an excuse to say "they can't do it" hard work and determination pays off!.

Your not just a writer your an entrepreneur, something new I learnt!

Keep it up. Top quality as usual!

@mrs.steemit

thanks for the detailed feedback, I appreciate it! And I completely agree with you that it's all about time management! :)

The term work has this negative taste to it, and I certainly can't call it work, when I get to create with the most awesome people...

Reminds me of something Jobs said, "Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected."

I look at the work each one of you share with us on Steemit, and your quality shows.

Working and living with people who expect excellence amalgamates those individuals towards a common purpose - that is a fun place to work in. It is work, but each action gives you energy for the next when done with people who care.

I would love to see more lifestyle pieces like this from you. There is much wisdom to glean from the way you conduct yourself.

Thanks so much! :) there's truth in the saying "you are the people you surround yourself with" and I very much agree that a good team working towards a common purpose as you describe it, is the foundation of anything great.

Can someone in our steemit community please make a device to freeze time already:)
Nice post @mrs.steemit. Long productive days make for better posts of steemit so it is a WIN-WIN.

What a fruitful day!!!
Even busy,it is great to lead a healthy lifestyle like yoga or gym.
Thanks for sharing. For those who have excuses not to exercise just because of busy.

Thanks! I believe in the power of conscious prioritizing and making time for your health.

You have such a busy day. Thanks for sharing a day of your life. I actually like this new diary style you're using. It's very relatable and easy to read.

You seem like your plate is definitely FULL. I would imagine you feel very fulfilled. You seem like you have your health on track, your priorities straight, and a non-stop drive for success. I like that you plan your days out ahead of time. That's something that I need to adopt in my own life.

I really admire your work ethic.

The diary style gives a more personal glimpse of what makes @Mrs.Steemit who she is; all of the madness behind the scenes. I feel like it will be appealing to a lot of people.

As for my day, the main highlight was attending a four hour nursing conference. Getting all of my p's and q's straight before I delve into nursing school. Its gonna be tons of fun in the sun! haha

I enjoyed your post. Keep em coming!

This is awesome! These are the kinds of events and memories you won't forget. When more days are like this one, life begins to get exciting. And I very much like the diary style.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback :)

Thank you for sharing your life.... has Steemit changed your life at all in terms of time ...it's like building a side business and it's always changing....not just about money.... thank you :-)

Your day looks so exciting @mrs.steemit ! I teach grades 1-5 @ an elementary school so my day was very different but exciting ad rewarding too. Thanks for asking.

Thanks! It's great that you enjoy what you do, that's really what it's all about. Challenging, but rewarding is also what I'm aiming for.

Hi Mrs Steemit!! It's fun to learn a bit about your daily life...I have to admit, I want more though. Since you're asking...I want to know something that really excites you this for the coming year, also what is something that is/hasbeen scary for you? What are you growing into to? What qualities do you admire most in others? And what about in yourself? What are you most proud of for yourself this year?

That dancing looks FUN!!!

So many great questions, I'll make sure to answer them in upcoming blogposts. Thank you for the support an inspiration!
