World & Internet: Stop treating men like dysfunctional women!

I've just been sent yet another blog post telling 'men' how they should process/field/listen to #metoo stories and messages.

I am angered and frustrated by the way increasing numbers of women (and some {femi-}men!) are choosing to view and judge men like defective women (thanks Christina Hoff Sommers / The Factual Feminist for that phrase).

These cloying blog posts that 'kindly instruct' them to use feminine coping strategies and methods to both field women, and process their issues and the issues of masculinity.

It's like 'super teacher at school knows how to make all the kids learn' when a woman is about as much use at helping a boy/man with masculinity and its challenges as a fish is teaching a bird to swim.

Why should anyone listen to these #metoo stories unless they are either sharing or are interested in offering support and holding space for someone to share/heal/be heard, which is fine.

But should EVERYONE 'stop and listen'? In my opinion: No.
