It is always tough to overcome perceptions and also getting different perspectives than your own as it is not easy “putting other’s shoes on.” Being the youngest of three brothers had its benefits which I see years later but while growing up, I used it as a crutch to get what I wanted. Funny what maturity does to someone over time!

It's that maturity I'm hoping for, while trying to find the happy medium in the meantime, or at least that's my idea. When they do eventually move out, I will miss them, especially the grandchildren, but I won't miss this. It's too bad we have to have both. I know a lot of people have this or worse and I'm thankful that it is not full on screaming at each other or something.
