Money, the determinant of the level of professionalism.

One thing about the world we live in is that we don't really know many things about it. It is quite interesting. Everyday, we see new things. To grow, we have to learn, unlearn, experience new things, and relearn. Not everyone has the ability to do this, but then, inarguably, it is a very important quality to have.

Constantly, the world is changing. Diverse people make their perspective heard. Some other persons appreciate and imbibe those perspectives to their activities of daily living while to some different persons, those perspective are trash. Interesting as it is, diversity in perspective, is one of the most unique qualities we have as humans.

We have passed through many stages of evolution. We have seen hardships and we conquered. As humans, we strived, we thrived, we probably almost gave up but irrespective of any hardships, we survived.

In the world we live in today, nothing is free. I once heard a parent saying that the reason why they are taking care of their own child is so that the child will take care of them. The world is crazy. I tend to ask myself, why bring them to the world if you would not take good care of them.

Gone are the days when the majority of graduates or workers in general study their profession for the sake of passion. Back then, people go to school because they love school. I have heard a lot of stories about how people from back then go to school with no slippers, or good uniforms. They didn't have enough technology as we do now, but their love for education and professionalism surpassed what we have now.

In our world today, instead of doing something because we love it, we do it because we love money. Before a secondary school (high school) student goes into college, they will first go to google to search for the best paying professions. Their option will revolve around any of the jobs that have a very good pay.

The world we know today revolves around the concept of "give and take." Even in the medical sector, some people pass through medical schools, but medical schools did not pass through them. Professionalism is lost but can be found within a very very few persons. Money rules. "How much deposit do you have?" rings out of the Nurse's/Doctor's mouth when there is a dying patient that needs urgent attention and care.
