Great explanation of where the extra rewards were coming from. I know it was intended to increase your voting power by 4 and wondered where all the extra rewards were coming from. This has been a great opportunity to show some friends and co-workers how incredible Steemit is and help grow the community and help people at the same time. A few dollars for a post doesn't have the same effect as showing someone a post or comment that's made $5, $10, $20 or more. The larger earnings are more palpable. HF 19 has been a smashing success and I believe will open the eyes of many more people to show how Steemit can benefit their lives. They'll come in for the $$ but soon find out Steemit has much, much more to offer them to enrich their lives.
