A WOMAN'S PRIDE
We have all heard that the pride of a woman is her Virginity. Many men believe this, even the women themselves. You hear most girls say stuffs like "I would give you my pride". This ideology is all wrong. The pride of a woman is not all about her Virginity, but it includes her Character and intelligence. Now you may be wondering what nonsense am I talking about, but before you begin to judge or counter let me elaborate.
Lots of girls feel worthless because they are not virgins, they have heard talks like when you loose your Virginity, you have lost all all it takes to be a woman. Now do you think this reasoning is right? I do not intend to encourage lecherousness in the female gender through this post. I am a believer of sex after marriage.
A woman's pride lies in more than her being a virgin. Her Character counts a lot, and so does her intelligence. There wont be a guy who would want a lady with bad character or a foolish one at that wherther she is a virgin or not. A lady can then be said to be worthless when she has no reputable character and has very low intelligence.
Some people would want to argue that Virginity is the gift to give one's husband. yes! This may be true, but Virginity is not what keeps a family together, there a lots of ladies that got married a virgin, but today they are divorced.
Many ladies loose their Virginity nowadays for all the wrong reasons, but there are some who are not virgins for the right reasons. To those who are still virgins, congrats!! It's a virtue. To those who are not, do not loose your self worth. Being an ideal woman is not all about your Virginity status.

To me, you got it very right... Pride of woman should be measured by character and intelligence and not virginity. What is even virginity!

You got it right my friend @pasaift. I don't know where this sort of ideaology came from but its definitely leaving many of our ladies self-conscious and living with a feeling of guilt just for living their lives...

Judging a woman by her sexual status is worse than judging a woman by physical appearance.
There is more to been a woman than been a virgin. And until we correct this primitive mentality the number of broken marriages in our society can never be less.
