Im Zentrum seines Schaffens stehen oft Dinge wie Selbstfindung, Geschlechterrollen und die Grenzen der Kommunikation.
Nach einem Jahre dauernden Auslandsaufenthalt kehrte er in die Schweiz zurück. Fortan flossen auch kritische Betrachtungen seines Heimatlandes in seine Arbeit ein.
