Another day in the life
Like many this morning I wake to a long list of things to do. Admittedly, most of the day will be playing poker online and ignoring these things I should be doing. But some stuff will get done.
This reminds me of those 2 most important rules.
Rule #1
Don't sweat the small stuff

I approach poker with more conviction than many do their regular jobs. And I am only a hobbyist and it is a sick obsession. To your point, these hands are rarely idle. They just don't do what is considered the societal norm. It's likely things will change to meet needs for the next major purchase if poker earning attempt is fully exhausted.
The key is to always have a "side-hustle".. or "don't put all of your eggs in one basket" as they say. One source of income is nice. Multiple sources of income is better! Especially when one or more of those sources are working on making you more money with limited interaction from yourself.. c'mon crypto!! 🙂
