It really was an experience. I've read accounts where people's roofs blow off. Of rising flood waters inside your living room. Of having to run and hide in bathrooms, with hammers and tools just in case you got trapped. We escaped with minor inconveniences. I thank God for small mercies. I'm not eager to live through another one I promise you. Smiling. Where we're from (Trinidad) we almost never get hurricanes. I'm heading there next year.

So scary! I'm so glad I live in East TN. About the worst we get here is storm thunderstorms...
