Consistency – Secret Success Story

It goes without saying that the best you can suggest someone is to ask them to develop a habit of consistency. It can be anything starting from doing exercise or yoga for 10 mins or reading two pages of a book on a daily basis, depends on the likeness of the individual. But the sole purpose of this is to maintaining the consistency so that it can be a part of your thinking which in the end is going to drive positive and spectacular results by covering lack of talent and prize focus approach.

I believe that small things are done again and again bring the major changes in our life. Allow me to discuss some gem features of consistency with you in order to prove the power of consistency.

  1. Momentum

Momentum by definition is “An object in motion stays in motion.” So rather than walking 5km in one day start with one or 2km and increase gradually by doing this in continuity i.e. consistently. This is why we’re better off practicing an instrument for 15 minutes every day than we are an hour once a week.

By staying consistent we catch motion and that is the key to getting momentum which is the successful ingredient for any startup. As well said by someone, “Go slow but smooth as smooth is fast.”

  1. Willpower

When you do things that you decide i.e. which you put on the to-do list, you actually achieve your goals. Achievement is a great feeling that boosts your willpower and you come with more energy to accomplish your goals. The point to note here is that the goals should be achievable i.e. not too big that you lose interest in achieving them or you take the task too easy as it is a piece of cake. When you struggle and make an achievement actually you are crediting your personal willpower account, which can be used later for doing more tough tasks.
