White-tailed eagle in the snowy steppe

The white-tailed eagle is native to Eurasia. It is the largest bird of prey in Europe and the fourth heaviest eagle in the world. Adult birds are recognizable by their gray-brown plumage, pale head, and distinctive white tail. Their powerful curved beak and legs are bright yellow. They can live for about 27 years in the wild and up to 42 years in captivity.
