Well, I am in this phase and trust me family are the most brutal critic of my work, they are the hardest to get approval from and it doesn't help if you have a sibling in the same line of work as you because they just won't agree with what you are doing even if you show them the proof, I think it's because they can't fathom that somebody that they grew up with could be a difference maker in the world.
