There are many good reasons to invest in Steem, but services like D.tube and Dlive for me are the two main reasons. The growing user base of these two dApps alone is sufficient to ensure the long-term success of Steemit - never mind SMTs and other upgrades that are coming over the next few years.
steem is definitely going to survive for a very long time in this emerging blockchain space.
