RE: I've figured out what will and will NOT be part of my new blog! I also need FEEDBACK!

Hey buddy I will definately be a follower of this blog. I love making money and trying new things, I also share your kind of life view you shared in your first post which is money is cool but its not everything. You may want to look into FI or FIRE financial independence and retiring early, there's kind of a whole movement about it and its basically about increasing your income and cutting your costs so making money and also frugality and minimalism.

I'm also very frugal, in the past few years I've increased my income about 4 fold and really don't live differently than I did when I was dead broke, with the exception of maybe treating myself to some name brand cereal at the grocery store instead of the bulk bag stuff and maybe the occasional meal out.

I'm not really into most material stuff, I'm not really into fashion, cars don't really get me excited, not a gamer so there's really not that much to spend my money on. A nice craft beer, some nice greens, a nice meal out a treat for my dog, aside from that I'm pretty content sleeping on a cheap ikea mattress on the floor, although my gf did insist we buy a real bed so grabbed a king size real bed but of course from the outlet store so got a steal.

Looking forward to checking out your content, seems we have pretty similar views on life.

I agree with you 100%! I lived for over a year on an air mattress after I split from the ex. At first because it's what I had, then because I liked it. I just broke down and bought a memory foam mattress from walmart for $200. Queen size and all and I love it! Helluva price on that! I also wear flip flops as much as possible and don't care abut style so much. I do my own thing and usually wear out my clothes because I don't like change. LOL

My current plan (always adaptable of course) is to develop residual income. You've already touched on a few things like making money from blog posts years later (recent vlog I do believe), kindle books, etc. There's a ton of ideas out there! But once my spawn go out on their own, I'm selling all my stuff, getting a camper and heading out. I can still work when I want, but that lifestyle will allow me more freedom to go where I please. Many fellow veterans have been doing that and I've been following along on Youtube.

Like I said I can always adapt the plan, but staying single, keeping costs down, and having multiple streams of income will be the key. I have 13 years to figure it out so I might as well start now! LMAO!
