Like anything else, you have an experience and get knowledge from it. Overall, sounds like it worked out better than it could have.
The mechanic thing is a luxury not everyone has. My brother is a mechanic so I literally wait for him to come down fro a visit when I am considering getting a different car.
In the end, as long as the car runs good. You are in good shape.
True!! I'm happy with how it worked out because it could of been a really bad situation.
Wow! you are lucky to have a brother as a mechanic. It totally is a luxury. I got lucky because I now have a great one too :)
