Few Things I wish I Had Known Two(2) Years Ago ....

I know that me and some of us must have things we wish we knew before now, One thing that I like better than learning from my mistakes is to learn from other people’s mistakes. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to have great mentors, teachers, family, friends, that taught me about life.
What I'm about to write and share with you new are things I wish I had known in the past two(2) years precisely... Although, It's not too late but It would have been better than this if I had known two(2) years ago... What you will find below are the list of things I wished I had known before now...

CRYPTOCURRENCY : According to what I read, I learnt that the cryptocurrency market is barely a decade old yet it has presented one of the most amazing ecosystems to study. Heheheh I really can't believe I started showing more interest in January 2018, Though it's not too late but I really wish I had know in the last two(2) years when all coins are still very much affordable.
Regardless that I got to take part in the crypto world, I have learnt and still studying more about the the cryptocurrencies. I learnt that the currencies are extremely volatile, It's never stable it either it rise or fall. take for example as of 2009, Bitcoin was worth 0.003$ hmmm This is another interesting part of the cryptocurrency because as at then I'm pretty sure people didn't take it serious. In sometime ending 2017/early 2018 the value of that same Bitcoin rise to 17,000$, This is an indication of the volatility of cryptocurrency.
Today I'm grateful that I have joined the crypto world and I must say I'm really happy for what I have achieved since I joined but the drastic downfall in price of cryptocurrency now is not encouraging heheheh I hope it will rise again.
STEEMIT : Steem is one of the best thing that I have encountered so far in 2018. When I heard about it from a friend I totally disagree with him because I never believed that you can go online publish anything and get reward for it hehehe when he told me I just laughed over it. I was like even Facebook that has been in existence for a long time and all most all the world population are on Facebook yet no reward so how can steemit that just came will be rewarding individuals for publishing. He brought out his phone and he showed me clearly that Punky This is real.
Later that day I try to read and learn more about the steemit, I learnt that Steemit is a blogging and social networking website that uses its Steem blockchain-based rewards platform for publishers. And it has been existing since March 2016, I asked myself where have I been since 2016 that I am just getting to know in January 2018 hehehe I felt so bad that I was lacking behind but the most important thing is that steemit is still very active and it doesn't look like it's going to end in this generation, So immediately I joined the community and here I am today having so much fun in this community and also I have met well over five hundred (500) people since I joined and still hoping to know more both locally and globally. Much appreciation goes to @ned and @dan for this beautiful initiation and more also to every brains behind the success of steem blockchain.

FOREX TRADING : I have heard about Forex but I didn't know or understands how it works. Until sometime last year ending when my colleague took part in some trades and she made alot of profits. I was like is this for real? as usual I did my findings and I decided to go for training to understand it much more better. I got to understand that Forex is like real estate buy and hold and later turn around to resell it and the only thing traded in the Forex market is Money but it's not physical money but currency pairs, Like trading from one currency to another.
Since early this year I have been doing some trading in the Forex market though there are loss and there are profits so far. So I always imagined I have been in the Forex trading before this year I would have gone far and wide because I'd have devoted more time in the past than now. Forex trading requires alot of time cos one really needs to study the market so as to know when to trade or not cos if you enter the market in a wrong time hehehe you will have your self to blame.

Yeah, many would have loved we knew it earlier, but it is better late than never.
Steemit for example is not up to three years, so you are still an early adopter.
I was talking about this with another business owner today. You win or you learn. If you are doing something worthwhile or substantial, you are bound to make bad decisions. It is hard to do and that is why everyone doesn't do it.
I love passing along the universal truths as I find them and mistakes I have made so that others don't have to repeat them all. My kids think I am just preachy though...........
Hahahaha! But you have to let your lovely kids have the same understanding just as you... not them having this thought that you preachy! Although, there still kids heheheh! Thanks zeke !
I really like this post. I feel similar to you, I wish I had found Steemit and crypto sooner, but I am sure glad I am here now.
To answer your request about what we have learned in the past two years / wish we had known... well, I had an accident almost 2 years ago and had a head injury that changed my life. Because of how sick i was for so long, I realized a lot of good things about myself when I recovered. But, I still struggle with some things. I wish I had known, for example, that I am as capable as I am. I have only just recently been starting to feel truly confident in my abilities. So I downplayed them a lot and had a lot of anxiety around my future.
Now I am feeling much better, and I probablty had to go through a time of huge doubt and see myself get through it, in order to really understand this, but here I am. I just think If i knew it sooner I would have been that much more ahead, but its okay too. Like you said, its important to not dwell on the past, and focus what we are doing now, and make use of what we know in this moment. That matters most.
First of all I’d like to say I’m sorry about your accident and thank God you still very alive today. And the most important thing in life is starting to get to know or feel your abilities, capability here you are... I’m happy for you... Truly we need to make use of what we know at the moment... thanks @dflo for passing by and make this post more interactive...
