Jenny Too Deserved Some Respect

"I am the head of this relationship and that puts me in control of it". These were the words Jenny's fiance had always told her whilst they dated. Jenny had to be at the receiving end of everything whether she liked them or not. Just to save the relationship, she'd cost herself her respect. Jenny was meant to be silent over the things she never liked. She was to accept blames for everything and apologize even for the wrongs of her fiancé. Jenny had began to ask;why am I not free to air my view? Why must my fiancé pick offence when I try to express myself? Why must I always be denied " sorry" even when I deserve it? Would I ever cope with this if we eventually marry? Why must I bottle up my fears for the fear of not loosing him? Does he not want to keep me the way I want to keep him? Soon, she'd discovered that a man who really loves his woman would respect the way she feels about anything at all. Jenny's fiance had always felt that Jenny could never walk away from him because he'd mentioned marriage to her but Jenny was not a kind of woman begging for marriage. Which was more important? Loosing her respect or getting married early? Of course, loosing her respect was out of it all. Jenny had walked away from the relationship to save her integrity and just then, she found a thousand and one men who respected every attitude her fiancé ever disrespected. Jenny, as successful as she was yet devoid of pride had respected her fiancé so much but getting it in return was a case. Now, Jenny is gone and all Kenneth keeps wishing for is to hold her once again and feed his ears with her fears. Just when Jenny left Kenneth realized an empty life without such a girl of virtues. Would he ever get her back? He should have known that Jenny too deserved respect and that promising to marry her was never meant to be a ground to victimize her. Good enough, Jenny has got a warm heart to welcome him back and all Kenneth prays for is that he respects her now.
