Giving your 100% is not enough

Hi Friends,

The days are gone when hard work was enough to succeed. Look around you, every individual is doing hard work. The questions that keep bothering me is how my hard work is different from the other or what difference does my hard work makes, to put me on the top ?

There are zillions of questions that keeps haunting me before i go to bed. So, i have come to a notion that these days, giving 100% hard work is not enough. Its really not. Believe me.

I think with hard work , you also need to sell yourself to let others think that you really worked hard. Promotion has became a very crucial aspect of your success. If you don't believe me. See around yourself. So many brands are putting their banners just to show case the product they launched. They can't depend on customers to speak good about the product after using them, as that's long process. Also many good movies are doing promotion just to grasp that attention that can give an extra edge over the others.

So in analogy to that: i feel putting 100% is just 90% job done for your success. The 10% is far more important as that gonna pay you for your 100%. So, just don't ignore it. Or Just don't feel confident that you are done with your 100%. As now it s not just the work that speaks, its the you who need to announce your hard work.
