Fun Facts about Paper Wasps:
- They are considered beneficial by gardeners because they pollinate and feed off pests.
- They use their saliva, mixed with fibers from dead wood or plants to construct nests that resemble papery material.
- A wasp next may have between up to 20-30 adult wasps.
- While the lifespan of the queen may be up to 12 months, other adult wasps only last between 12 and 22 days.
