IS ONE LIFETIME ENOUGH TIME?
Life is a blessing, a gift given to us to cherish always. Whenever i look at how beautiful the world is and the beautiful things of nature, i am always amazed and feel favoured and blessed to have been born into the world.
If you are a rich man, you would wish there is anything you could do to slow down the hand of time. This is because you would wish you can live a bit longer than the life expectancy speculated out there. Life from a rich man perspective is beautiful and enjoyable.
Life, they say, is short. If you consider the rapid growth of kids and how a kid born before your eyes grows tall and stand shoulder to shoulder with you, you will agree that life is truly short.
But the important question is, is it short to accomplish your goals or short because you wish to enjoy more things and go places while you are still alive?
Is this one lifetime enough for you or you wish it is longer than it is right now?
If you ask me, i will say this one lifetime is good enough. In fact, I would have wished it is more shorter than this because of the stress in it.
Right from birth, it is one thing or the other. Hunger, sickness, cry, sadness, happiness and many more. It is always mixed with colourless realities that sometimes i wished i never knew or have any idea about the universe.
A lifetime is enough if your goal is about what you would be remembered for while you are gone. It is one thing to live but another thing to live well. A life well lived should be preferred to a life with no positive impact.
Some people lived a very short life but they impacted on so many lives and as such, we immortalise them. You can be forever young if your goal is to solve a particular problem (at least) around you or help in solving a problem.
Even if you spend 200 years with no positive impact, no good thing for people to remember you for, then your life is as short as that of those who died very young.
This lifetime is enough for us to do many wonderful things and be remembered for them. Life is short but worth every bit of it.
Live, impact and be a blessing to those around you.
