That is terrible. Just be thankful you are OK. I can understand that a brand new car doesn't feel so brand new if it has been damaged even when it has been fixed.

This happened to me just last month

After this accident, I realized how lucky I was. The truck that hit me was going at high speed. Probably in excess of 70 miles per hour. That truck just barely caught the corner of my truck and still passed me at high speed. If that truck would have hit me directly, It could have been deadly. I've since learned that when a crash happens over 80 miles per hour, the survival rate drops dramatically low to less than 10%. This is because the human body has difficulty surviving the force of the impact.
