Life is not always fair as people will say but as a rules player, you will come to the knowledge and understanding that you are absolutely in charge of the happenings around you and it's up to you to play those cards well to your best interest. There are so many things we do or allow that makes our life more complex by the day which should be avoided at all cost. Also, there are things we must intentionally learn in tough times like being happy, at ease and calm in difficult times. These to a large extent ensures stability which is good for our progress in life.
Is there progress in your life? Or do you still waste your time and energy in that old room?
As a rules player, time is very precious and shouldn't be wasted in the memories of the past. The old room is that filled with anger, hurt, guilt and lots of negativity that stagnates you from achieving the purpose you were created for. You don't belong there, each second wasted while meditating on things that cannot be changed, cannot be regained. Pondering on those things only weakens You the more. Moving forward and being successful is the best healing. At times, time doesn't heal those wounds but your personal decision to be happy and fine does. Reserve those energies for productive things.
A rules player do not always see success as only being wealthy. To him, a successful person is one who is happy, at peace and contended with what they have. These things cannot be bought with money and should be grateful for.
A rules player should have a belief system to guide him daily. Clearly stated principles and boundaries will keep you focused on life. Also, having a belief isn't enough but also being comfortable with them because people will surely come to shake you which you alone have the final answer; either to stand your ground or yield to them. The path you follow will tell how much value you place on your belief. However, this doesn't mean enforcing them on others. We should respect others opinions or perspectives but also, upholding your belief.
Today is your only reality, tomorrow isn't certain.
For every second you breathe, value it because it is priceless. No one knows when death will come knocking or when will be our last and that's the more reason you should be happy, love yourself and do everything possible to ensure you are at peace with yourself and those around you.
Do you catch yourself going over things again and again especially when you have made up your mind that everything would fall in place? As a rules player, always have it at the back of your mind that no doubt means not rethinking things again. Keep calm and enjoy life because everything will surely be fine.
Do you still keep shut and let people ride on your feelings or sit on your emotions for them not to get angry or break up with you? One with dignity will express their feelings and will not be peoples pleaser. Also, remember that Pent-up emotions could affect your health and peace of mind in a long run. So, speak up when you need to and let go when you have to. It's for your own good...
