I don't disagree with anything you're saying here, but it is saddening to see people settle when they definitely could have/do more. So I like encouraging people to chase their dreams, maybe just do it in a.. less condescending way
The point is that you need to create goals that are realistic for you and your situation. No need to settle either but if you are chasing a dream that is not realistic for you and your situation in life, you will be disappointed and not want to try again. Sometimes looking at even the smallest accomplishments can be motivation to do more. It's not realistic for most people to travel the world and do whatever they please.
