The Sausage Palace - a renovators delight ! Whoa !!She’s going to be a big job!
Things have been rather hectic, and I feel as though I have not had enough time in my days to be posting quality content. Rest assured in the background of my steemit life, there is a major purchase going on that will very much become the foreground of future steemit posts. Hence the slowed down posts on steemit.
This has been a dream of mine since I was 12, and finally it looks like it’s going to happen...OMG!!
Meticulous care is being taken to dot i’s and cross t’s as I employ building inspectors, pest inspectors, surveyors and examine the contracts and deeds for my first house purchase, and boy is she BIG!
Needless to say I have been very occupied! But keep your peepers open for a lot more posts coming on painting, decorating and renovating, as the sausage palace comes to life! All pending finance, building and pest reports of course!!
Fingers crossed!! I feel excited and sick, nervous and exhausted, empowered and vulnerable
all at once!!
It’s a bit like being a hot chip in a car park full of seagulls!
For years I have been renovating everyone else’s houses, and now it’s my turn! What a strange feeling it is!
Here is a peek at the home I wish to purchase with in a couple of weeks!
It’s a screaming 80’s design and soon I will find out if it is to be, or not to be!!

I'm not certain. It depends on what the bottom looks like. From the pics, The only repair looks like that top step. Re doing the whole pool is a big project. I'm wondering what condition the pump and filter are in. Don't spend more money than you have to.
@doctorcrypto I've had a close look at the coating on the pool, I'm not sure if its chlor rubber or two pack or just a waterproofing membrane, but it is letting go of the substrate. Its really drummy (I'm not sure if that's a term you use where you live, but essentially it is delaminating ) and it has holes all through it. I am going to have to grind it all off and probably start again if I want a good finish on it. I suppose initially I could patch it to get it working as a pool again, but in the long run, i will have to address the whole coating. I am told that the pump and filter all operate properly. So that is one good thing!

Where I lived a few months ago was just gorgeous and totally unusual. It was a dream home, oval in shape and made of Stone ... I miss it very much, but now for my own adventure @keytleyer-chan
