What I build in my free time...

Having two daugthers is time consuming as a dad. Those little creatures are having a lot of wishes and not always within my capabilities.
So last time we drove past this wooden playhouse at the DIY-shop. 250 euro's for a 1 x 1 metre simple playhouse.

Both daugthers are screaming that they want this in the backyard so they can play with friends in it.
But as manly as I am :) I told my wife I can do it better and for the same price! She said: Challenge accepted!
O boy what I got myself into... Well I'm a man of my words so let's start drawing from scratch.

Calculating, measuring and clicking myself through the webshop I ordered everything for a lousy 300 euro's.
It all fitted well in the car:

1,5 time bigger then the DIY -shop but own design and unique.
My daugthers love it and it even got a little table in it!

So sometimes we serve dinner there or lunch.

What you think of this little mansion for my kids?

Quite handy for a man who only hits Enter for a living!
