Are you increasingly searching for a more meaningful life

in #life26 days ago

I've gone through a lot of changes from being a teenager to the woman I am now, but I still don't know what to do with my life after all the searching, experiences, and jobs I've had.

Is it too late for me to ask this? No matter what age, the questions that ask "what should I do with my life?" are sure to confuse a lot of people. That's what's hoped for!

"I don't know what to do with my life." The main point of this question is to get more information: what makes people lose drive in life?

We were taught as kids that people should work to make money, make a difference, and have a job. But what about personal satisfaction?

What does this mean and where does it happen? When we do the things we enjoy, where is the happiness and satisfaction?

We're not just looking for a life that meets the standards; we're also looking for a life with more meaning, where we can do things that are in line with our deepest wants, needs, and values, and that way of understanding well-being is unique to us.

At every age, we do, of course, wonder what we can do with our lives since we can't just jump from one life to another.

Be careful that finding your interest doesn't become a source of stress. Life doesn't need you to be bold or have a dream.

I mean, it would be funny if we all had jobs that were our childhood dreams. You may be working in a field where you can use your creative side but it's not a good fit for you, even if you can't pinpoint your area of interest.

I don't like my job, but I have to do it! Does it make sense that I have no idea what to do with my life? Yes, of course.

So much so that if you question it when you notice something is missing, you will also see that you can do something about it.

It's always possible to get better. It gets tricky when "I don't know what to do with my life from now on" turns into "must do something, change something," and not everyone is ready for that.

It's normal and common to want to change. Many of us dream about it, but most of us don't do anything about it because it's too hard. If I say work is hard, I mean really hard work.

First, you need to believe that there is a way to live that isn't the one that your school, parents, and society teach you.

Then you need to believe in yourself, stop what other people say, stop caring about what other people think, pay attention, and find and live your own unique vision of life.

We need to be open-minded and break down our thought patterns in order to do this long-term job. It's about being willing to risk damage when it's necessary and being brave enough to start over.
