Luck, bad luck, who can say? : Inspiring tale

in #lifelast month

An extremely impoverished individual who lived a very uncomplicated life was found in a village. His only source of riches was a lovely horse that he owned and cared for very well. He was quite proud of this horse.

Everyone was interested in purchasing the horse from him because of its stunning appearance; yet, he consistently declined their offers. He reiterated, "This horse is not available for purchase."

An early morning, he made his way to the barn... All traces of the horse had vanished.

Everyone in the village had a message for him: "We told you so! It would have been more beneficial for you to be selling it. Now that it has been taken from you, what a terrible turn of events! What a terrible loss it must have been for you to have only that!

A more sage response came from the elderly man, who said, "Lucky, bad luck, who can say?" Only a portion of the story is known to us. Who can predict what will take place? As of right now, it is far too early to talk about misfortune.

All of the people laughed at him. After some time had passed, however, the horse came again, bringing with it an entire herd of wild horses. Rather than being stolen, it had managed to get away. During his holiday, he made several new pals, some of whom he took back with him!

"What a stroke of luck! You are surrounded by some truly lovely horses! "You were absolutely correct, because it was not a misfortune but rather a blessing!" the locals said.

In response, the elderly gentleman said, "Good luck, bad luck, who can say?"

His son was the one who initiated the training of wild horses. A week later, the latter got into a serious accident with one of the horses, which resulted in him being crushed.

Those who lived nearby exclaimed, "What a shame!" When your only kid is no longer able to assist you, what are you going to do, you who are already in such a precarious financial situation? In all honesty, you deserve to be pitied!

His response was, "Good luck, bad luck, who can say?" the elderly guy said. Unquestionably, my youngster has lost the ability to utilise his legs. You, however, are unable to foresee the future.

Following some period of time, a war was declared. As soon as the army of the lord of the country arrived in the village, they enlisted all of the young people who were available without their will. The only exception to this rule was the son of the elderly man, who, due to his disability, was unable to walk or fight.

The neighbours were filled with jealousy towards him, saying things like, "How fortunate you are, all of our children have gone to war, and you are the only one to keep your son with you while ours have gone to be killed..."

Who can determine if good luck or bad luck is more likely? In certain cases, the truth of objects or occurrences is very different from what they appear to be.
