How I Saved 2 Hours a Day with This Free App in 2025 (and you can too)

Two months ago I was drowning in tabs, notifications, and endless scrolling. My day used to disappear before 2 PM. Fast-forward to today — I now finish my work, gym, and still have time to trade crypto and write here on Steemit… all because of one stupidly simple free app.
The app? It’s called Notion (yes, the same one everyone talks about, but most people use wrong).
How I was wasting 2+ hours every single day (be honest, you probably do this too):
15–20 mins hunting for links/passwords in 50 open browser tabs
30 mins switching between WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Docs, and random notes
25 mins rewriting the same to-do list every morning
20–30 mins searching for that one meme or price chart screenshot I saved “somewhere”

Whenever I see a good trading idea or meme, I clip it straight into a database called “Crypto Gold.” Takes 3 seconds. No more “where did I save that?”
The 5-minute morning ritual
Open Notion → check 3 things: Tasks, Calendar, Price alerts → close laptop if nothing urgent. That’s it. No more opening 17 apps.
Template button magic
I created a “New Steemit Post” template. One click → title, tags, outline, and even my payout preference pre-filled. I literally went from idea to published post in 11 minutes yesterday.
Proof it works:
October: wrote 9 posts
November (after Notion system): wrote 29 posts
Daily active time saved: easily 2–2.5 hours (tracked with RescueTime)
