So a criminal organization tricks a girls parents into insurmountable debt, takes the girl as payment, ships her somewhere she doesn't speak the language, probably raping, beating and addicting her to drugs along the way, then forces her to fuck random guys to "pay off the debt" while almost certainly ensuring she gets no money and the debt never goes down...

But the cops who got a sexual favor are the ones who made it 1000x worse...

Yes the cops added to the problem, but because of our religiously driven laws the only other option they had was to put the girls in jail. Their hands were essentially tied by public opinion... And the thing is, without government things wouldn't be any different. The only way forward is progressive laws which recognize womens' right to choose while stopping traffickers.
