Optimists Lives More Than Seven Years Longer Than Pessimists.

In the right side of the brain there is an area that is activated in negative thoughts.
A research study at US Yale University has shown that optimists in average lives more than seven years longer than pessimists.

Take control of your thoughts!

Compare "What fun you're finally here!" With "What sad you were late ..."

The situation is the same, but is managed in two completely different ways. One reaction feels positive and encouraging, the other negative and almost a little accusation. The way we express ourselves affects both ourselves and our relationships. A negative attitude is infectious and creates unnecessary stress for all involved - and a positive attitude becomes, of course, also a synergistic effect.

5 thought tips that can extend your life:

  1. Do a self-check
Start by looking at yourself. How do you think others perceive you? Like a happy person or someone who complains and is negative? You may even ask people in your area how they experience you? If they admit that you can be a little negative - or if you even have that feeling yourself - it can be a position to make a change in your way of thinking.

  2. Clear the negative
All impressions affect us - and there may be things in your vicinity that make you feel depressed and unaware of it. There may be sad movies, criminal series on television or unpleasant books - or maybe even someone near you. Try to see how it feels if you avoid the impressions for a while. One step to becoming more positive is to reduce negative input.

  3. Focus on the positive
Write down three positive things from each day. It does not have to be great, but something that made you happy. Then go back and read these notes if you feel down. Then you may feel that life is not that bad anyway!

  4. Become your own therapist
If you feel down, try looking at yourself from the outside. What would you have given for advice to another person in your situation? Give yourself the same advice and pepping, for example: "I do not think you need to worry about this, it will resolve." That way, you become your own therapist.

  5. Create synthetic happiness
You can trick the brain that you are happy. Imagine that you are on a job interview that you are very nervous about. Tell yourself that you will get the job and go to the interview with the happy feeling - it will make you much more relaxed.

Keep Steeming and think positively!
