Nice post @androsform. I have a theory that depressed people are supposed to be unmotivated and apathetic. I think it's a protection mechanism, but then when they take SSRIs they become unnaturally uninhibited, and the protection is removed. SSRIs might be why so many depressed people transform from being suicidal into being homicidal.
