RE: You Never Know

in #life7 years ago

Thank God your wife and the old woman were ok. I remember last October when we visited my in law, a car suddenly overtake, and hit the left side bumper. We are lucky we're all safe! But the guy who bumped us left but we got his plate number! Reported to the Police.

Thank you, @tonie. It can happen in a heartbeat, can't it? And you never know. You can be doing everything right and someone will come out of nowhere. I feel fortunate that my wife had someone to help her and act as a witness to what happened. The intersection does get quite a bit of traffic in the morning and evening, so there was bound to be someone there, but it takes a good person to get out of the car and render assistance.

That was good you were able to get the license plate and turn the number into the police. I hope they were able to locate him and that something was done about it.

Our insurance company already sent a message to the guy, he will be the one who is responsible for the excess payment, but unfortunately, he didn't reply yet, and we paid it, at least the excess payment was not expensive. We will not bother anymore with the guy who bumped us, the important is we are all fine, though I'm a little bit traumatized with the incident. That's part of our life, good and bad times always comes our way. But I do believe in karma LOL!
