Be Better 更加好

It is always challenging to be better than before at the cutting edge. Using an athlete as an example, it doesn’t mean that the athlete can run faster than before while getting older. Likewise, a person will come to a time that he or she is no longer able to do better since we all face constraints pertaining to age. Hence, the phrase “Be better” can be related to the capability to enter another stage, rather than just attempting to be better in the existing stage of life.

When a person is no longer able to be better in his or her existing stage, it can be an indication for the person to move to another stage. If an athlete is no longer able to run faster due to age, it is perhaps time for him or her to become a coach to raise up runners. If the athlete has become a coach, it means that he or she has moved to another stage, signifying becoming better.

Therefore, we can attempt to be better by moving from one stage to the other. The person may be a teacher, and he or she has been teaching effectively. One day he or she is no longer able to teach as before. However, the past contribution can still be an inspiration to many. Then, the teacher is in a stage of seeing the fruit of his or her teaching contribution. He or she can be perceived as being better and he or she can rejoice and be thankful for being a teacher for many years.

处于最前端的社会并要比以前作得更加好，这無疑是一个挑战。如果以运动员为例，这并不意味着他随着年龄的增长可以比以前跑得更快。同样地，一个人会到达他不再能够做得更好的时间，因为我们都受到与年龄有关的限制。因此，“更加好”不一定是指试图在现有的阶段要做得更好，而是与能否迈入另一个人生阶段有关。

当一个人在他现有阶段不再能够作得更好时，这可以意谓那人必须进入另一个人生阶段。如果一名运动员由于年龄而不能够跑得更快，那么他就可能要探讨成为一名教练以兴起其他运动员，这表示他要过渡到另一个阶段，他也因此在运动领域变得所谓更加好。

我们可以成功地由一个階段进入另一階段而以之为“更加好”。这个人或者是一名老师，他过去可能一直很有效地教学，时候到了他不再能够像以前那样教学了。然而，他过去的贡献仍然可以成为许多人的激励或灵感，而这老师也进入了一个看到自己教学的贡献及成果阶段。他如今可以因为曾多年来作为一名老师心感欣慰以致进入了更加好的人生阶段。
