Life has a funny way of trying to make us mediocre...
It expects us to follow the "chain of commands"
It says - You can't be a hero you know, so just follow the rules.
Only the strong willed know that these rules are only a form of distraction; swaying us farther and farther away from who we ought to be.
There are no rules to a successful life, just follow d path u know is right→
But how do u know it's the right path? (you may ask)
You just know...there's a still-small voice.
Life is tricky...but do try not to fall prey to its tricks.

Sometimes we think only when we're applauded for something are we termed successful...
But ironically, it's until you're called weird/strange...that u really are successful.
You're weird because you've successfully rebelled against what they think are the rules of life.
Until you're a misfit somewhere
Until you're a round outline in a square box called life
only then would u realize that your life was tailor-made for you.
Until they laugh at your ideas, thinking they're ridiculously insane
Until they roll their eyes at your "weird" suggestions
Until they think you ain't cool enough to be in their circle
only then would you really know you're actually living
(If only they knew how quickly cool turns into mediocrity)
Try looking at life with the innocence of a child.
Try not to beat your self up over every mistake.
Take risks...
But do make sure you're ready to take responsibility for your actions.
In all of these, I know there's always a 'pseudo-factor' (as I'd like to call it) called FEAR...

I've had fears;
Fears of failing,
Fears of succeeding,
Fears of the "unknown"
Fears of uncertainty, not knowing where the road may lead.
Are my choices right or am I just being misguided?
I may be scared but appear all bold, confident and courageous
But in my head those fears are LOUD enough to even stop 🛑 me!
But then,
I know there are no dreams without fears...
No success stories without doubts.
My looks and bold speeches might be intimidating, but my heart knows what it fears.
In the midst of all my fears and doubts, I know I'll scale through...
The bruises, pains, hurts and disappointments would only make me braver.
Every step I take is guided by the one who sees my fears...
Every path I follow is set apart by the one who knows my fears...
And because he sees and knows my fears, He turns them around for my good.
My path may not seem logical to you or anyone,
But allow me the privilege to take them anyway...
It's more than a career path, it's a calling!
And if I fail at it, atleast I know I succeeded in a way,
because "I followed my heart".
It makes no sense to me too, but the one who gave me the desire knows everything!!!
I don't talk much about it because I don't want to be seen as a failure if things don't quite work out.
And just in case it does work out, at least I can always come up with the "hard-work...behind the scenes"🤭

I do have my fears but I know those fears are what pushes me beyond the boundaries of who/what I thought I could ever become or accomplish.
