Pickled Kedondong, anyone?
Tasted this pickled kedondong or also known ambarella and love it, so thought try to make it.
Never try making any preserved food before so this will be my first.
1st i hunt high and low for the fruits. This is what happen when you hardly shops for food and cooking stuff..😅
Manage to find the fruits at a supermarket but its wrapped so unable to choose smaller size kedondong.
Have it peeled and soaked with salt for few hours.
While have it soaked,got the sugar syrup prepared and let it cold.
Added some brown sugar in it too.
Wash off the salt and into the sugar syrup the kedondong went.
2days later ready to eat...😋yummy yummy...
