It could’ve been left alone
Some things could’ve been left alone.
That day, I was just tired.
Not from anything big — just the usual small stuff piling up, one after another. The kind that leaves you slightly irritated without a clear reason.
There was an old image sitting on my desktop.
Not bad. Not good either.
The kind you know isn’t quite right, but also not bad enough to fix.
In moments like that, I usually skip it.
Not everything needs to be corrected.
Life itself has plenty of “almosts” that don’t need extra attention.
Still, I opened it.
Moved a few sliders around.
It didn’t really help.
No surprise there.
I was about to close everything and move on.
Then I paused.
Not sure why.
Maybe I just wanted to feel like I was trying
Or maybe lately I’ve been wondering if I give up too easily on small things.
I ended up trying an online tool someone had mentioned before.
I didn’t expect much.
Later, I remembered the name — AIEnhancer
(https://aienhancer.ai/)
Nothing dramatic happened.
It just felt a little more settled.
A little clearer.
Enough to say, “Okay, this works.”
That small sense of “good enough” mattered more than I expected.
Not because the image suddenly became great,
but because I didn’t have to think about it anymore.
Whether I actually used that image or not doesn’t really matter now.
What stayed with me was the moment of relief —
when one small decision stopped asking for more of my attention.
Tools aren’t answers.
They don’t solve much on their own.
But sometimes, they make a choice feel lighter.
Lately I’ve been thinking that life is full of moments like this.
Not clear yes or no,
just that quiet space between “I’ll try once more” and “I’ll let it go.”
Some choices look small.
But choosing to continue, even briefly,
does move things forward.
My shoulders feel a bit stiff as I write this.
Probably been sitting too long.
Still, today moved ahead —
and that feels like enough.
